Mythology by Edith Hamilton

Really enjoyed this accessible study of Greek mythology.  Hamilton provides synopses of the lion's share of Greek mythology stories, written in a manner that is easily understood by a 21st century reader.

She compiles her narrations from a wide variety of sources, including Homer, Hesiod, Ovid, Apollodorus, Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripedes, Herodotus and more.

She provides a clear depiction of the pantheon of Olympic gods, plus the minor deities.

I feel like I'm truly gaining an understanding of Greek myth, which will immensely help my understanding of the ancient world and the lives of its people.

Now on to Ovid and his Metamorphoses.
