This was a wonderful, easy read from a kindred soul, one of Rick Steves' travel book editors and writers. It tells his story, how he developed a love of travel and landed his dream job with Rick Steves Europe in his early twenties. Its filled with wild and wonderful stories from his colorful career.
Hewitt's stories only reinforce my love of travel and foreign cultures, and the road-less-traveled approach to both.
Although undoubtedly he chose a difficult career, the book is filled with specific examples that more than made up for the hassles and stresses.
