It represents a critical link in the transition from a cruel, factory farm system of meat production, to a humane system of plant-based food.
The book details several such farmers, the abhorrent conditions that they endure, and their decision to transition to plant-based farming.
The book is a product of The Transfarmation Project and its parent organization Mercy For Animals, both of which I would like to explore further and help support in the future.
