Menander: Plays & Fragments - Penguin Classics

Rounding out my examination of ancient Greek drama, I enjoyed the first two comedies of Menander in this book: Old Cantankerous and The Girl From Samos.  

But by the third play in the collection (The Arbitration), the massive sections of missing text (approximately half of the play) made it very difficult to follow.

Rather than muscling through the remaining 13+ plays, for each of which even less text survives, I decided that my study of Greek drama was complete!

I stand proud, however, for reading and studying all other extant Greek drama from Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides & Aristophanes.  It's been an immense pleasure, something I hope to do again.
