New, Old Quotes

I just ran across some old notes of mine scribbled in a notebook in my study, including the following quotes.  The latter two obviously speak to my deep love of history, and why it transcends mere enjoyment, instead becoming something of great importance:

"Make yourself the sort of man you want people to think you are."
